Personal data will be processed by CAEL – Consórcio de Automóveis Excelsior, Lda, headquartered at Rua Braamcamp, No. 52 B, 1250-051 Lisbon, taxpayer number 500049947, hereinafter identified as “CAEL”.
 
Use of cookies
CAEL automatically collects information whenever someone visits the Websites. CAEL obtains information from the user's computer and assigns a "cookie" (small packet of information about that user) when someone visits its website. This data is not provided by the user – this is collected automatically to smooth the interaction between links to the Websites and their use.
We use cookies and other similar technologies to facilitate and record in particular what functions you use on the Websites. These technologies can also be used when sending HTML email messages.
• Cookies and other internet technologies
We collect information from your computer in order to assess the effectiveness of the content on our websites and its use. These data allow us to improve the use of the website, or to optimize the user´s navigation on the Website and to develop programs and content in accordance with the interests of their users.

CAEL obtains technical information from the user's computer whenever the user requests a page when visiting the website. This information is obtained through the user's browser and may include different data such as: IP address, operating system used, Internet search software (eg Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari), monitor resolution and reference websites.
 
Cookies from technology partners
Google
CAEL partners with Google for web analytics. The data in the cookie informs Google of the pages, products and services that have been visited and allows them to find appropriate advertisements. Google writes both persistent and session cookies. Cookies do not store personal data. Deleting or disabling these cookies does not limit the functionality of the website.
 
Turn off and delete cookies
All browsers allow limiting the behavior of cookies or turning off cookies in browser settings or options. Settings vary from browser to browser, and the user can find instructions in the browser's Help menu.
Through the browser, the user can see the cookies that are on his computer and delete them – individually or by deleting them all at once.
If the user disables cookies, the CAEL website may not be able to create a reservation.
Disabling cookies will also affect the tracking of the user's progress through the website, but will not prevent the analytics from visiting recognition.
