Do these four things? Know that do not give health to the clutch of the car

For the sake of your clutch (and your wallet), avoid doing this.

 

The clutch is the connecting mechanism between the engine and the gearbox. It ends up getting worn out over time, but there are always behaviors that shorten your 'life'. Something that is not good for your car or your wallet. Yes, because changing a complete clutch kit is not a cheap investment at all.

 

So, what can we do to make it last as long as possible? The answer is really in what… we shouldn't do.

 

Driving with your foot on the clutch

Avoid doing this. It is a recurring behavior of many drivers and is one of the most harmful to the health of the clutch. It should only be used to change relationships, never as a resource for driving.

 

Turn off the car with the gear engaged

To leave your vehicle safe, first switch it off in neutral and only then engage first or reverse gear.

 

Change speed gradually

Avoid making relationship changes from Monday to Wednesday, for example. You should always change your speed sequentially.

 

Start off with a change other than the first

The manual gearboxes are numbered for some reason, right? Avoid starting a gear other than the first one as this will further wear the clutch.
